Delete Your Summitry Account

You can permanently delete your Summitry account and all associated data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

Option 1: In the app (immediate)

Open Summitry, go to Settings → Delete Account, and confirm. Your account is deleted right away — no waiting period.

Option 2: By request (if you no longer have the app)

Email summitry.app@outlook.com from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We'll process your request within 7 business days and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

Your account (email/password or Google sign-in link) and profile — display name, photo, flair.
Every peak you've logged: completion status, dates, notes, and GPS verification data.
All photos and GPX files you've uploaded or recorded.
Your badges, achievements, and leaderboard standing.
Your Bucket List and Epic Hike progress.
Any public activity feed posts tied to your account.

This is permanent — deleted data cannot be recovered, and it's the same deletion the in-app option performs (see our Privacy Policy for more on how your data is used before deletion).
